Description
We all know how legendary and rare the script cover of Born to Run is. I daresay this item is even more rare, because very, very few of them survived the 70's. I had two. I used one until it broke, and kept the other one and never opened it. This key chain is as new as an unopened item from 1975 can be. It's been kept in a jewelry box all these years. I received it as part of a promotional package for Springsteen's Born to Run album when I worked at KLBJ-FM/Austin.
And yes, I do have a Script Cover album that I will be selling sometime after the first of the year, so watch for that.
As you can see from the photos, the keychain has the legendary Script Cover lettering on it. I am including both the new-in-the-bag key chain, and the shoes portion of the other key chain that I used in the 70's until the shoes came loose. The pictures taken though the plastic bag are a little fuzzy, so I've included the other photos so you can get a better view of the cute little shoes. The silver ball on one end of the key chain unscrews, and you put your keys on that way.
