Description
Spirit's 1968 debut album featuring Randy California on guitar who had previously played with Jimi Hendrix when Jimi was discovered by Chas Chandler of the Animals at the Cafe Wha in New York City.
This was a very impressive debut album by the band and it featured songs like "Fresh Garbage", "Mechanical World" and an instrumental song that has been making the news of late "Taurus'. which Mark Andes is suing Led Zeppelin for as being used in their intro to "Stairway to heaven".
All that aside, this is a great album and if you never heard it before,go have a listen to it.
The band also featured Ed Cassidy on drums who was from the infamous Rising Sons and was Randy's step father and Jay Ferguson who would later go on to solo success as a performer and writing film scores for many films as well as Mark Andes from Canned heat and later of Heart.
Condition: The record of the record is still factory sealed, since it's never been opened,I can't give it a specific grading, I'm sure you all understand.
The record cover has an angular cut (cut out cut) on the lower left hand corner of the cover. There is some very slight ring wear (see scans) to front and rear of the cover, nothing out of the ordinary for a record that is over 46 years old and there's a price sticker on the cover (see scan).
I've been buying and collecting records now for over 52 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
