Description
SPECTRUM/MURTCEPS LIVE AT DALLAS BROOKS HALL APRIL 15TH 1973 LP
Up for sale is a rather rare spectrum double LP album, it was recorded on Palm Sunday april 15th concert at Dallas Brooks Hall in Melbourne in 1973 this was their farewell LP. Spectrum is an Australian progressive rock band which formed in Melbourne in 1969 and remained in existence until 1973 but recently re-formed to record a new album in 2008. Its members also performed under the alter-ego Indelible Murtceps (murtceps is spectrum spelt backwards). I've owned this record for about 7 years and i have only come across one other copy which was so damaged you couldnt play it.
More photos of the album for sale here: http://picasaweb.google.com.au/elfyoz81/Spectrum?feat=directlink
Tracks:
Side one: We are indelible, going home
Side two: Hand jive, some good advice
Side three: Essay in paranoia, superbody, what the world needs is a new pair of socks
Side Four: Crazy song/goodbye, i'll be gone, i want to know
Condition:
Cover: Very good condition for a 36 year old record. Front shows slight signs of ringwear and small creases, rear is pretty much the same but also has a marknear the top right corner (see pics). Inner shows an awesome image which is like a marvel comic scene with the guys from the band in the pic (see photo).
Records: Good condition for old records, has noise on the records but mainly only heared in the quiet passages. No scratches that would rip a stylus out, quite pleasurable to listen to.
