Description
I'm back with a nice auction of 50's blues, R&B and doo-wop 45's. I'm clearing out a couple of boxes so this one is mainly Checker/Chess, Atlantic and a handful of Vee-Jay Promos. There's a nice handful of more mainstream artists, but very high grade copies.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Lloyd Price and His Orchestra - Lawdy Miss Clawdy / Mailman Blues
Format: 45 rpm 7" vinyl record
Year: 1952
Notes: White & yellow label first pressing without the catalog number at the bottom. First single by Lloyd Price and the first big hit on Specialty. Just a classic record and a must have for any 50's collector. Mailman Blues is a great track as well.
Record Condition: VG+, The record itself is in nice shape & plays very well, just a couple of tiny hairlines. Very clean with good original gloss. Plays great with excellent sound. Labels are also very clean with no writing/tears/scuffs. Really good condition overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, has some wear including a couple of small tears on the edges. Presents well though with some moderate wrinkling on front.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
