Description

This is one of the coolest items in my record collection and probably one of the coolest soundtracks you'll ever see. It's a mint condition (except for the cut-out corner - see photo), unplayed copy of the Rhino Records release of the soundtracks to 2000 Maniacs and Bloodfeast.  Each side of the LP is devoted to one of those classic gore films.

Ok, the really cool thing is that Mr. Herschell Gordon Lewis himself signed this for me in silver paint pen with the inscription "Yee-haw!  The South's gonna rise again!  Herschell Gordon Lewis."  The signature is very prominent and this would look so cool framed, hanging on a wall.

Mr. Lewis was a guest of honor at the Screamfest convention held here in Ft. Lauderdale in 2003 and he graciously signed this for me.  If any of you have ever met Mr. Lewis, you know what a true gentleman he is.  I had this hanging in one of the LP frames you can get in Goldmine, Urban Outfitters or from Bags Unlimited.  By positioning the lp correctly, you can almost make the cut-out edge disappear (why-the-heck do record companies have to ruin records like this?!?  Sheesh!).  The soundtrack is cool enough by itself, getting it signed by H.G. Lewis is cooler - but getting him to write out the lyrics to one of the all time great soundtrack songs (this song totally makes the film work) is the coolest yet.  Don't let this get away!

Sorry for the reserve on this but this is just too great of an item to give away.  If it doesn't sell, I just might wind up keeping it.

Record will be sent in a stiff LP mailer, priority mail, 2-3 day delivery at cost.
