Description
THE BEATLES & OTHERS 1960s ARTISTS - 'SOUND OF THE STARS'
This 2-sided, 3 1/3rpm flexi disc was available by mail-order only from the influential UK music paper 'Disc & Music Echo' in 1966.
It features a mini-interview with: The Beatles, The Hollies, Cliff Richard & The Shadows, Judith Durham, Cilla Black, the Bachelors, Dusty Springfield, Spencer Davis, The Walker Brothers (Gary & John), Pete Towshend & Sandi Shaw.
The disc is introduced by Radio Caroline DJ, Tom Lodge and the interviews are conducted by Penny Valentine & Cathy MacGowan.
The disc was devised and produced by Beatles/NEMS press officer, Tony Barrow.
It is housed within its original mailing envelope.

Both are unblemished & 'as new'.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
The disc is perfectly clean & both playing surfaces are free from any bends, creases or other such damage. In fact, apart from a few faint wispy hairlines visible only upon close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp, there is little else to fault here.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This copy has clearly not been played very much at all as the sound is of excellent fidelity and is clean and unworn throughout with just a touch of light background, normal for discs of this type.
