Comments:

Discounts are always available for the combined shipping of multiple items. Please wait until the end of the auction and I will send an invoice including all discounts. Original US SUPER RARE private press copy, hard to find and highly collectable soul/funk album, offered with a stupidly low start and with no reserve price. Please note: not all items have audio files attached but we politely request that all visitors listen to any sound clips provided BEFORE bidding, thanks in advance.

To avoid negative feedback, please read my payment instructions before bidding.

Please note: I do not end items early so please do not ask! I require payment within FIVE DAYS of the end of the auction, so if you wish to bid on other items, please contact me and I will invoice you at the end of the auctions. I prefer payment via PayPal, although other payment types, such as Postal Orders, may also be accepted but please inform me if you wish to pay using a different method. Please note that if you are a new bidder on Ebay, or have any negative feedback or strikes, please contact me BEFORE bidding, thanks in advance.

All packages are shipped within three working days. Buyer pays postage and combined discounts are available on the shipping of multiple items.  However double albums will incur a small additional charge for the extra shipping costs. International shipping prices have been dramatically increased by the Royal Mail, if you do not agree with the prices and wish to bid on any items, please do not complain as there is nothing that can be done about them. I make no profit at all on packaging but all items are packed in stiff, sturdy, professional mailers with stiffener(s) and are sealed tightly for extra strength and security.

I ship worldwide, so all bidders are welcome but note that I will only ship UK items via First Class Recorded Delivery or above, (which means all items must be signed for), with absolutely no exceptions, so if you do not wish to pay for this service, please do not bid.  I will post worldwide at normal shipping rates but ALL items sold for £30.00 and above MUST be shipped via International Signed For, which usually costs around £5.00 extra just for the signature.

Other services (e.g. airsure) can be requested and additional insurance can be provided for more expensive items but must be paid for by the buyer. If there are ANY problems at all with your purchase, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to resolve them. Returns are accepted (with a full refund, except postage) but please send within seven days of receipt of the item and in the same condition as when the items were received.

I always leave feedback, so please leave feedback for me when you have received your item, thanks.

Bid with complete confidence and the best of luck, Doc!

Grading Scheme

Mint (M): Vinyl: I almost never use this grade but here it is anyway: Absolutely perfect in every way – almost certainly never played, maybe still sealed.

Cover: As Above, absolutely flawless, maybe still sealed, or possibly only opened to check the record.

Mint Minus: Vinyl: An almost perfect record with no obvious signs of wear. Perhaps a few very light, barely visible marks that do not affect play at all.

COVER: Almost “as new”. No creases, folds, stickers, tears, seam splits, writing or other noticeable defects. This also applies to inserts, posters, lyric sleeves, etc.

Very Good+ (VG+): Vinyl: May show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that do not significantly affect play. Also very slight warps that do not affect play are acceptable. Labels may have some ringwear or light fading, but they should be barely noticeable.

Cover: May have some slight wear, ringwear, seamwear, light corner dings, or a very minor seam-split, cut-out hole, indentation or cut corner.

Very Good (VG): Vinyl: Many more visible marks, scuffs, scratches. Surface noise and clicks may be evident, especially in soft passages and during the intro and fade, but will not overpower the music. There may also be groove wear and light scratches that will affect the sound but it will still be of reasonable quality with the music overpowering the majority of sound defects. Labels may have writing, tape, light stains, or stickers and possibly sticker residue.

Cover: May have ringwear, seamwear, writing, seam splits, corner dings, tape, cut corners, cut-out holes, light stains, stickers, sticker residue. However, VG covers will not have all of these features on one sleeve, only a few of them.

Good (G): Vinyl: Will have significant surface noise and many marks, scratches, paper scuffs and visible groove wear but will play through without skipping. Labels may have writing, tape, or stickers, stains, sticker residue, wear, fading, paper tears, etc.

Cover: Will feature some, or even many of the following; ringwear, seamwear, heavy writing, stains, large or small seam splits, corner dings, tape, cut corners, cut-out holes, stickers, sticker residue, paper tears, tape. In a nutshell, if it's something you have been really looking for and the price is right, buy it and try for a better record later, at least that way you’ll have one to play!

Please note: In addition to the above grades I also use Strong VG++, VG++, Strong VG+, Strong VG, VG-, G+ and G- for records that fall in between grades. I find these grades especially useful when records play better than they look and vice versa (sometimes records look great and have bad sound defects.)
