Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Sonny Rollins “A Night at the Village Vanguard” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 1581.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; three tics during the bass intro to Side 1.  The laminated cover (no address, as issued) is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout – with small writing at the upper right corner of the back slick; ¼” bump at the upper left and lower right corners; superficial ¾” crease at the upper right corner; 2” crease at the lower left corner.  Personnel include Wilbur Ware, Elvin Jones, Donald Bailey, and Pete LaRoca.  $300.00.
