Description
This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of “Sonny Rollins” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1542. The flat rim playing surface has a scratch at the beginning of Side 1 that is audible during the first minute of play; otherwise, there is no significant wear; nice luster. The original West 63rd St. frame cover is bright and clean throughout; light rubbing along the seams; light erasure at the top of the back slick.
