Description

Sonny Rollins 'Saxophone Colossus' For owners of 15 ips open reel tape machines. Manufactured by The Tape Project www.thetapeproject.com in very limited numbers (some as small as 500) I believe the original retail price was $350. It is currently out of print. This and 3 other titles (which i will be listing shortly if there is any interest) belonged to the estate of a dear friend who has recently passed away. He played each reel no more than 5 times on his Stellavox SP7 through D.I.Y Set amps and Lowther speakers. It goes without saying that the realism, dynamics and detail to be had from these reels are incredible. We compared it to a very clean U.K Esquire first pressing played on his perfectly set up Garrard 401/Sme 3012/Ortofon Spu and the difference in all areas was remarkable to say the least.
