This record is being relisted due to previous winner not paying for it.
Up for auction is a rare original 1956 mono pressing of Sonny Rollins Quintet / Thad Jones ‘Plays’ on Period Records SPL-1204. This record is quite rare so bid accordingly.
Record info:
Strong VG+ vinyl. Plays great with some minor surface noise. The first side is Sonny Rollins, the 2nd side is Thad Jones.
Cover info:
Strong VG+ with some very minor wear and age staining. The bottom seam has some wear at jacket opening but NO split seams anywhere.
Label / Pressing info:
Deep groove pressing.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
