Mega Rare LP of Sonny Rollins - Newk's Time (Blue Note 4001 - Mono) Original blue and white labels with 63rd Street address, Deep Groove, RVG and ear on both sides. NO trademark "R" on either label. Possibly Rollins' best quartet LP also features Wynton Kelly, Doug Watkins and Philly Joe Jones in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG condition with lots of marks that will definitely make noise - not for the audiophile by any stretch - you are going to hear noise on this one. The cover is in VG+ condition with a bit of general age/shelf wear, but NO writing, NO splits, NO tape, NO stamps, NO stickers. Definitely NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see at this price?
