For auction is the EVOL by Sonic Youth. This is a 12” 33⅓-RPM LP released by SST Records in 1986. A sticker shows I bought it for $8.49 at Newbury Comics, my favorite record store. I don’t know how the women who worked there could afford to dress so well.
Pre-owned by myself and no one else, I see no scratches or faults on either side of the record. The spindle hole has no signs of wear. I could comb my hair with this record. Even the edge has that knife-sharp feel to it! Playing is perfect. Condition is Near Mint (NM).
How about the record cover and the sleeve? I feel I’m not going out too far on a limb calling this record cover also Near Mint (NM). There is a label/price tag on the shrink-wrap of the cover. The paper liner/sleeve is plain white and original. It has not a single flaw. I call even the paper sleeve Near Mint (NM).
