Sonic Youth Bad Moon Rising, 1985 LP Blast First 1 / Homestead HMS 016 First Pressing This is the first pressing of Bad Moon Rising, made in UK and simultaneously released by Blast First in the UK and Homestead in the US. Subsequent US copies lose the custom labels, the Porky mastering, and the Blast First mention on the sleeve. Subsequent UK pressings change from Rough Trade to Mute on the back cover, but retain the Porky mastering (with HMS 016 crossed out). Includes an illustrated lyric sheet, printed on one side only Runouts: BFFP 1 A1 = HMS 016 A1 IT'S A BIRD IN THE HAND, IT'S A MODERN LAND - SONICS RENDESVOUZ. A PORKY PRIME CUT. MPO BFFP 1 B1 A PORKY PRIME CUT. HMS 016 B1 MPO PREPARE FOR THE WORST, HOPE FOR THE BEST. Sleeve is in very good condition with signs of wear Inner sleeve is plain white paper as issued Insert is near mint Record is in very good condition. Some pops and crackling.
