Sonic Boom: Spectrum LP, Vinyl, Silvertone Records 1990
Sonic Boom or Peter Kember is an English singer and record producer. He was a founding member, vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist of alternative rock band Spacemen 3, lasting from 1982 until the band's dissolution in 1991.
Kember's first solo album, Spectrum, was recorded in 1989 while Spacemen 3 were still a going concern, and featured the other members of the group. Sonic Boom made space rock that took its cues from Suicide and The Velvet Underground.
