Description
Up for auction is a Deep Groove(Both Sides) Stereo copy of Something Else on Blue Note BST 1595.Stereo copies of this are much harder to find than their mono counterparts.
Label has the 47 West 63rd NYC print on it and the Ear and RVG in the trailout.
Cover is nice and strong.No splits.Front has light scuffing and very light ring ware.
Back cover has staining on back and 595 written in Pencil upper Right hand corner.See Pics....
Labels are very nice.I would Grade them at least EX+.When i put this lp on my deck,the spindle hole was very tight which leads me to believe that this record was rarely played.
Record Visual.Looks Beautiful!Some light marks from the inner sleeve.The best copy of this that i have ever seen.
Record playgrade:Side one:1st half of side 1 has Light constant backround noise which is not overly distracting.Sounds like it could be cleaned up with a good cleaning(VPI) but i can't promise anything.The reason i say it might be able to be cleaned up is because the record looks so nice visually.The rest of side 1 is a little better with occasional light backround sound,mostly inbetween tracks and in quite passages.Conservative VG+.Most would grade EX or better
Side 2.Side 2 has occasional light backround noise.Near Excellent..
Like i said,visually,this is a very nice looking lp,even under bright light which leads me to believe this backround noise might be able to be cleaned up.
This lp is still a very nice listen and the issues listed above do not take away from the listening experience.Not a mint copy but a very nice keeper copy for your listening pleasure.

I am a record collector who knows how to mail a record properly.I remove the lp from the jacket to prevent seam splits and i use 2 pieces of corrugated cardboard to protect your lp and cover.Your lp will be placed in a new poly-lined bag along with a plastic sleeve for the cover.Then the record and sleeve will be place in a brand new record mailer.
