Solomon Burke - 'Cry To Me' was released in 1984 and is a 16-track compilation LP issued as part of the Charly R&B series, picture sleeve. Much under-rated, the voice of Burke should be talked about with the likes of Otis Redding or Wilson Pickett. Although never achieving much commercial success, his songs have stood the test of time and the title track of this album was featured in the movie 'Dirty Dancing'.
