Description

Solid original first pressing of this very hard to find McClean LP (with first appearance of Ray Draper on tuba) featuring deep groove yellow fireworks labels with 447 West 50th St address and RVG handwritten into dead wax.


Vinyl: VG-. Vinyl has G+/VG- appearance with many surface scratches but these are largely cosmetic. High quality pressing retains Van Gelder production well, which makes LP sound closer to VG, with some background noise and occasional clicks but no skips. Labels are clean and clear. Great daily use copy. See photos for details.


Cover: VG. Cover retains original glossy finish and is in beautiful shape except for bottom on which photographic paper is wrinkled and beginning to flake off. Flaking continues onto paper with address on the bottom of back cover. There is also some wear to the upper left corner of cover along the spine. Except for these issues, cover is closer to VG+ condition and is structurally sound and solidly intact. Professional restoration could turn this into a NM- cover. See photos for details.


LP will come inprotective Mobile Fidelity archive-quality sleeve. Cover will come in thickvinyl protective sleeve.
