Most of my vinyl comes from my own collection and is in great, collectible condition. If not, I’ll clearly describe the possible flaws or scuffs. Appr. 90% of my records are EX to Mint-. This collection contains many rare German and essential Kraut, Dutch psych and garage, UK and US progressive and folk, early electronic and psychedelic records from the period 1967 to 1975. Condition Record/Sleeve: EX+/EX- (record a few very light hairlines only, DREAM audio.. !! Cover clean and unwritten, with corners only tiny "eaten" and light wear)

Extra info: U.K PROG MONSTER !! MASTERPIECE ..on the "biggies" in progressive music! Mega rare US 1st pressing on PROBE with original hard cover. For some reason the first two Soft Machine record were only later issued in the U.K (and rest of the world). Therefore, the US Probe are to be regarded as 1st pressings. Sadly the "wheel" is not there anymore .... but no need to upgrade for it's DREAM AUDIO !!!! In this condition very hard to get !!

Soft Machine were an English rock band from Canterbury, named after the book The Soft Machine by William S. Burroughs. They were one of the central bands in the "Canterbury scene," and helped pioneer the progressive rock genre.

Volume One
The Soft Machine, as reissue also titled "Volume One", is the debut album by the British psychedelic rock band Soft Machine, one of the central bands in the Canterbury scene. The band, founded in 1966, recorded and released this studio album during their 1968 tour of the USA. It was produced by Chas Chandler and Tom Wilson.
