Hi, my name is Tommy and I’ve been collecting records for many, many years now. I’ve taken the hard decision to sell off some of my collection, so I can concentrate my collection in one specific area. So please look at my other listings. Listed here is a RARE album by Soft Machine titled “Third”. This is a UK Original 1st Pressing on CBS S 64080. This stereo copy is pressed on the very collectable CBS label. This record is quite rare now and is complete with both original company inners. The double LP gatefold sleeve is printed by "MacNeill Press Ltd". It's even RARER to find it in stunning condition like this one. Also has the early first press matrix numbers.
Matrix numbers: S 66246-A1 / S 66246-B1 / S 66246 C2 / S 66246 D2
VINYL - Both sides of both records are in Near Mint condition. Tiny trace of light/minor background noise/static, which is only noticeable on the run-in’s / outs and between the tracks and even then it barely noticeable. NO Skips, NO Jumps, NO Sticking, NO pops. NO deep scratches, NO hairline scratches. NO clicks. Vinyl still has that lovely glossy shine to it. Sound Superb!
SLEEVE - The gatefold sleeve is in EX condition. Some minor spine wear (text is all readable), some edge wear and corner wear. NO Tears, NO rips, NO splits, NO creases. NO ring wear or rub wear. NO Writing, pen marks or Graffiti.
LABELS - The labels are in Near Mint condition. Tiny trace of spindle marks, NO Writing, pen marks or Graffiti.
INNER – The inners are in EX+ condition. NO Tears, NO Rips, NO splits, NO Writing, pen marks or Graffiti.
(note: never grade Mint as I believe once it’s been played, even just once it’s no longer Mint)
