Description
Sodom-Agent Orange 2 LP Picture Disc Metal Tin Box on Steamhammer Records Germany SPV 099-76180.
Unfortunately, the sticker, wrist band and 1 slipmat are missing. This item only comes with what you see in the pictures. It was this way when i bought it at a record show, years ago. The 8th picture shows the sticker on the back, which says what the set was supposed to come with. I have thrown in a cassette j-card that has the lyrics and liner notes. The tape got worn out years ago (I played the hell out of it), and I decided to put the j-card with this album. This is only the j-card. There is no tape. It has the R/C Records label on it, because the cassette was a US copy. It also has the lyrics for the Tank cover, "Don't Walk Away", which was on the tape, but this song is not on the LP. Plays at 45 RPM. The metal tin looks like a movie reel container and is stamped with the number on the back. There were 8,000 copies pressed, according to the sticker on the back. This is # 0708.
Vinyl is EX+ with the usual ticks and surface noise associated with pic discs. Has mild warpage, typical of vinyl. The discs are slightly "dished", but it's no big deal. Disc 2 Side 1 has some noticeable static, but overall, the vinyl plays nice, especially for picture discs.
The metal tin is EX-/VG+ with some black spots/stains, "blackening", and pitting. (See pictures). Maybe some Tarn-X or something like that will help. I will leave that up to the winner to deal with.
The slipmat is EX.
The j-card is EX.
The picky collector will not want to bid on this. But, if you don't mind that some of the items are missing, and are just looking for a nice copy to play, then go for it. But, be sure to read everything below, carefully.
My grading scale: NM, NM-, EX+, EX, EX-, VG+, VG, VG-, Fair, Poor. So adjust your scale accordingly.
