SWF 7301 Brahms: Symphony No 2 conducted by Wilhelm Furtwangler

October 1943 Berlin Philharmonic

Societe Wilhelm Furtwangler LP issues were limited editions available to Societe members and not on the open market. They were 40 editions between 1969 and 1988; year of issue is shown in the first two digits of the serial number, and there seem to have been either 400 or 1,000 records per edition.  This was the first SWF issue and is a relatively heavy pressing.

Jacket: Hand-written label on back giving performance details otherwise near mint

LP: Near mint

Condition

A Near Mint LP means that there are no sounding marks; there may be one or two very light surface non-sounding marks, but the LP has had little if any discernible play, shows a high gloss, and has no repeated tics or sign of aural wear.

Any other rating will be specifically described.

A Near Mint jacket will be whole and undamaged, with no significant discolouration.

Any variation will be specifically described.
