Description

Smokey Stover unissued 8” demo 78 Natural Thing b/w Implanting A Rose Lil Pal And Record Store Recording Studio aluminum demo label from Houston Texas Recorded on 7/10/1951 There is pencil writing on the old sleeve with Smokey’s name and address, as well as another name and address which is probably the singer that Smokey is duetting with. This demo was probably sent to 4 Star Records but was never issued.  It was found in 4 Star warehouse Probably the only known copy, so a real one of a kind rarity!
There are no matix or reference numbers anywhere other than name and song title.
The demo is in VG++ condition.
It must have stood in 4 Star studio warehouse untouched and unplayed for well over 65 years.

You can hear samples of both sides taken from this 8” Demo by clicking the player below
