Smashing Pumpkins - Reflex Magazine & Daughter Flexi Disc

You are bidding on one of the rarer items in the Smashing Pumpkins catalogue of collectibles. This auction is for the long-sought-after Daughter 7" Flexidisc as well as the issue of Reflex Magazine with which it was distributed. The Pumpkins song, "Daughter" was included on 7" flexi disc vinyl with subscribers' issues of the April 4th 1992 edition of Reflex Magazine. This Smashing Pumpkins song can only be found officially released in this format. The magazine went out of business less that six months after this edition' s release, so it is assumed that the magazine and flexi-disc are limited to around 1000 copies. Both of these items are in beautiful condition and are a must for the discerning Pumpkins fan. They were released in the spring of 1992 and are over 14 years out of print!!! Don't miss out on this!!!

The Flexi-Disc has never been played and is in near mint condition. The magazine has no tears, folds, or markings of any kind. These items are in rare form! They are not, however, still attached (the issue was originally distributed with the flexi-disc attached to the magazine). They however, in tip-top shape and would fill out any Smashing Pumpkins enthusiast's collection. You are highly unlikely to find this set in better condition. I will, of course, send it well packaged to protect the contents from damage. This is an absolutely superb set, showcasing the band at the peak of its powers.

This is a highly collectable piece of rock history. Every pumpkins fan will want to own this slice of history! It also makes a perfect Christmas present for Smashing Pumpkins fans.

• The 7" was a one-sided flexidisk included only in subscriber copies of the April 4, 1992 issue of Reflex magazine. This was the first issue of Reflex to test the "subscriber-only" distribution method in hopes of boosting lagging subscription sales. It didn't work - the magazine folded less than 6 months later. For this reason, it's assumed the number of copies of this flexi are extremely low.
• This track is identical to the one on the 1989 Moon tape.
