Description

Smart Remarks-Seriously Speaking-RARE Original LP~SEALED! This auction is for the vinyl record from Smart Remarks, titled, Seriously Speaking. It was released in 1984 (Criminal Records SR125183~Original U.S First Pressing~Private presing made in Bordentown New Jersey). The vinyl is still brand new and Sealed. The jacket has some corner wear.

  • SONGS: The record has 5 excellent songs and it's a rare one; especially still sealed. It features Todd Ellis on lead vocals and guitar, Steve Destefano on bass and Ant on drums. Best known for their 1982 7" which featured Mary's Got Her Eye On Me and Machine Working Overtime; this obscure LP featured 5 songs that were recorded a year later and released in early 1984. Here's the track listing: Falling Apart As It Seems, Reverse Velocity, All Your Reasons Why, Foreign Fields and Disappearing. That's the record; good luck bidding!
  • CONDITION: Record: SEALED ::: Jacket: SEALED
  • Please note that all of my records are original U.S. first pressings; unless noted differently; where I write the record label and label number at the beginning of the description. I've sold primarily vinyl on Ebay since 1999 and my focus has been honest grading and secure packing. Please feel comfortable buying from me as my feedback card has over 5,000+ positives with just 1 negative. For grading I use a bright light to inspect each record for any possible scratches or marks. I also play grade all or parts of every record I sell. I rarely use pictures because taking pictures is very time consuming and I've decided that how a record sounds is more important than how a jacket looks. Since I do not do pictures; I'm very conservative with my jacket grading. My grading scale for the vinyl and jacket can be found on my Ebay me page at http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=vinylmusic88. For packing I use a professionally made vinyl record box and 2 extra cardboard filler pads for added protection. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence!
  • Thanx a lot for your time and interest! Rich(vinylmusic88)
