Description

Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for:  Small Faces -  The Autumn Stone - Original Double Vinyl LP album 1969.

Original Pressing on Immediate records.

UK pressing

Matrix Numbers 1Y3G   2Y2G   1Y4G   2Y2G

"Factory Sample, Not for sale" sticker on side 1 of both records.

Vinyl Condition: Fair/Good (A lot of light surgface marks, light scratchess and scuffs to both records. Mostly superficial. There is a feelable scratch on the last track on side 2 which causes audible clicks throughout most of the song. It is not overly major but will upset fussy listeners. For me it was still enjoyable though. There is some minor crackle on both records and the odd click and pop but no sticks or jumps. Good sound. Overall lots of surface marks and minor scratches and scuffs but plays so much better than it looks. A very enjoyable record which still plays very well dispite its age. This will NOT suit fussy collectors but is a decent entry level original of this very sought after record which is fully playable and enjoyable).

Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Plain white inners are replacements as the originals were missing).

Outer Sleeve Condition: Fair (Gatefold sleeve has a small surface tear on the front, over the mouth of one of the band members, bottom left. There is an approx 10cm split to the top seam and an approx 6cm split to the spine with a lot of wear around it. Text is unreadable on the spine. Edge and corner wear & creasing. Some rubbing inside the sleeve. Overall decent condition for its age but does have the defects mentioned above).

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.

If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
