Description
Original l963 handbill from Slugs', the short-lived jazz club in New York City's east village. Slugs' had an extraordinary roster of musicians passing through its stage, and this mid-1963 schedule was no exception: Joe Henderson Sextet (with Kenny Dorham, Grachan Moncur and Bobby Hutcherson) Lee Morgan Quintet, Grant Green-John Patton Quintet, and Yusef Lateef Quintet. The 5 ½" x 7 ½" handbill is in mint condition – immaculate in every respect.
