Description
You are bidding on a RARE 7" containing EARLY SLEATER KINNEY called "FREE TO FIGHT". This 7" record, released in 1998, is a split with the amazing band Cypher In The Snow (members of Tribe 8) and is packaged inside of a 12 page zine containing information on self defense. It's likely the most punk packaged release from SK and was released on Candy Ass Records.
The Sleater Kinney song on this record is "Big Big Lights" and the Cypher in The snow song is "Blame The Victim". This is a great look into the political / communal aspects of the NW world that Sleater Kinney came from. Long before they were on Sub Pop and before Carrie Brownstein was a Hollywood star the band was on Kill Rock Stars with bands like Bikini Kill, Huggy Bear and Bratmobile.
The record is in pretty good condition. There is a sticker on the cover of the zine/ 7" from when it was purchased in store in the 90's. Other than that there is nothing alarming.
