Information not listed on the release:
- front cover artwork was originally drawn for a Jeff Hanneman Tribute/Fund Raiser billed as "South Of Hanneman" in which 5 of the most well known underground artists were to create artwork pertaining to a specific Hanneman penned song (ie a song in which all lyrics and music were 100% written by Hanneman). The project soon fell to the wayside when the organizers of the tribute used copyrighted music in the video commercial created for the project, as well as one of the artists using the copyrighted Slayer logo in their artwork. Once the project was ended, some of the artists put high resolution scans of their artwork up for free download via the internet as an homage to Hanneman, which ultimately led to the piece that Kramer created for the song "Necrophiliac" to be downloaded by the producers of this release. They decided since the artwork was ultimately a perfect match to the release that they were assembling, and was never used for the intended project, that it would be the cover imagery for this release.
- The horned warrior that is on the front and back cover was a rarely used "mascot" of sorts that Slayer utilized pre Show No Mercy and up to the recording of Haunting The Chapel on flyers and letterheads, but never for an officially released album or piece of merchandise. The pentagram made of swords is also the version that was created by Slayer's original manager/"unofficial 5th member of the band" Steve Craig that was used before the release of Show No Mercy and never used after the release of.
- All artwork, sans the front cover, imagery, photography and graphics are solely from the years 1983-1986 when these recordings were made.
