Following Slayer's immensely successful 1983 debut Show No Mercy, fans and record label heads alike were hungry for more product from the brilliantly demented speed metal unit. Live Undead/Haunting the Chapel collects two stopgap releases from 1984 as Slayer quickly developed their style but offered their growing audiences some new sounds to chew on in the meantime.
