Description
This is a 44-year-old original test pressing of Slade's "Stomp Your Hands, Clap Your Feet" album issued in the US by Warner Brothers Records in 1974. It was manufactured at the Columbia Records Pressing Plant in Santa Maria, CA.
Included is the original double-sided label copy sheet that was distributed internally at Warner Brothers. The outer jacket bears the name of a Warner executive and the catalog number.
The disc is in excellent condition, with some light visual evidence of hairlines, scuffs, etc.. It plays through without skips. There are some pops, ticks, and surface noise that is typical of vinyl from the era.
The sleeve is intact with no splits and only slight shelf/edge/ring wear.
Pricing this item fairly is extremely difficult but I have done so based on vaguely comparable previous sales that were, in most cases, at least four years old. Therefore, please don't be shy about making an offer!
This is a stellar example of a rare Slade collectible item!
Thanks for looking!
