Released in 1973, Skull Snaps is a seminal funk album that has left an indelible mark on the genre. The self-titled debut by the band Skull Snaps is a quintessential example of early 1970s funk, embodying the raw energy and inventive spirit of the time. Despite its relatively modest commercial success upon release, the album has since gained a cult following and is revered for its innovative sound and enduring influence on contemporary music.
