Skin Diver - No Harm Intended (Vogul (VG-101), US 1983) Cover: VG+ (in shrink wrap, some staining and small damage) Record: EX to M- Rare privately pressed one-sided 5 song 12" by this Northwest pre-grunge, hardrock, party rock band. A formative band for the grunge rock scene to come. Kurt Cobain mentioned them in his diary, noting that they were one of his favorites. Here is something someone wrote about it as well: "Skindiver was formed in 1981 by a group of young Seattle-area musicians. Dave Hunt and Dave Rees formerly of the band Malfunkshun, Louis Vogel an independent song writer. Although their intention was to create music that was similar to the late-70's blues-based rock and roll with which they were familiar, the result was a half-grunge, half-rock, high-energy amalgamation. The band stayed out of the Seattle punk scene but rockers Andy Wood of Mother Love Bone and Kim Thayil of Soundgarden were supporters of the band and attended many shows. This new mix ultimately influenced many Seattle rockers that followed Skindiver into the Seattle music scene. By the mid-80's, Skindiver the band had moved on, but the music was here to stay." This is a nice copy. It's still in the shrink wrap but has a couple of issues (see photo's) The vinyl is in great shape, EX and plays M-. No reserve. Good luck!
