This album, while on the Dauntless label (Dauntless DM 4301) was produced by the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE).

I volunteered and marched with CORE in the mid sixties in NYC and these are the songs we sung as we marched. You can hear the determination and commitment to the cause in the voices of the singers.
