Description

Simon & Garfunkel - Bookends RARE 1968 MONO KCL 2729 PRESSING WITH POSTER!! Rare mono mix was on the market for less than a year before Columbia discontinued separate mono issues for their records and has never been reissued.  (Of Note: Poster is not from the original mono press, but salvaged from a destroyed stereo copy to complete this copy.)
Cover: G 1968 1st cover with Mono catalogue # on the back. Cover in rough condition with ringwear. Water damage on top around Art's head causing waving in the front slick, stain on his forehead also. Spine text legible and not disrupted. Top seam displays bending and wear. Rubbing and wear on spine and bottom seam but no noticeable seam splits. Water damage less evident on back cover slick with more rubbing and faint ringwear. Crisp poster included.
Record: VG- 1968 -1B/-1B Mono Santa Maria Pressing. Label in great condition on both sides. Record displays scuffs, marks and scratches on the record with a few looking deep. Despite such playback is at an acceptable VG outside of a scratch that causes rotating pops at the beginning of "Voices Of Old People". A fine filler/beginner's copy. Feel free to ask questions!
