Description
Slim Rhodes on authentic SUN Records 78rpm from 1956! "Take And Give" b/w "Do What I Do"!
Up for grabs is a really nice copy of Slim Rhodes´ "Do What I Do" on the legendary SUN label! This one is from my personal collection and I´m just selling it becauase I´m short of money at the moment...My loss is your gain!
Record condition is great! Has full gloss, labels are great ( see pictures ). Record has only light smudges on both sides and two scratched areas on "Take And Give" side. You can see them at two o´clock in the picture. These two scratches DO NOT AFFECT PLAY on my record player! It plays loud and clear! THE LIGHT EFFECTS IN THE PICS COME FROM THE DESK LAMP AND ARE NOT SCRATCHES!!
I´m collecting records for nearly 20 years now and this one is from my personal collection of 150+ SUN records. I do grade conservatively and call this one VG+ / VG++! A very nice record that is getting harder and harder to find, especially on 78rpm!
Grading is as follows:
10 / 10 Mint
09 / 10 NM
08 / 10 EX
07 / 10 VG++
06 / 10 VG+
05 / 10 VG
04 / 10 VG-
03 / 10 Poor
02 / 10 Fair
01 / 10 Worn
You won´t be disappointed with that one!
Please be sure that I will pack it safely so it will arrive unbroken.
Dead wax area reads U-216 / U-217. This is a guaranteed authentic 1956 pressing, especially rare on 78rpm. The 45rpm is more common!
Please notice that the item location is GERMANY and the postage is 25 USD. Also keep in mind, that I will pay some postage for you because German carrier DHL will charge me 35 to 40 USD postage on this one! Item will be send insured and with tracking number.
Please don´t care about the shipping fees and the option to pick up the item...I just didn´t know how to handle the shipping costs for international sales...So I entered local pick up and free shipping within the US to get this item listed. Item shipping from Germany to the US is 25 USD!!!
Only accepted payment method is paypal. Payment is due within three (3) days after auction has ended or item will be relisted or sold to the second bidder!
Please let me know if you have any questions! I´ll try to respond quickly but keep in mind that there is a time delay between the US and Germany!
Happy bidding!
