Saturn # H7OP-0216              1957, First Saturn LP, Blue Silk-Screen Cover

the inner sleeve is signed by Sun Ra twice. One side reads: To Mary Lou Williams From Sun Ra      Other side reads: Here's wishing you a Happy Space Age  Sun Ra (please see scans).

MATRIX #'s, side 1: H7OP-0216-1A      side 2: H70P-0217-1A

Condition: Play-graded side 1 is NM-,  side 2 is VG++ (light surface noise/static)

Cover NM-

This came out of the Dizzy collection.  PLEASE NOTE:  It does not have a copy of the auction house sticker on it (see the WE ARE THE LEVITTS/ESP-Disk listing for a scan of the sticker).  The signed stuff was auctioned off in seperate, smaller lots. This one probably slipped by the auctioneers because the cover is not signed; incriptions are on inner sleeve.

I'll be posting records from this collection every friday, for awhile. There will be one or two signed LPs in each auction. The signed records have the auction house sticker on them. The auction was held by Dawson & Nye, on September 14th, 2005, in New Jersey.  Anything that gets posted on a friday, for awhile, is from Dizzy's record collection.
