Description

FoundAroundNewEngland presents a Louis Armstrong Autographed Album. This is an iconic piece of Jazz history on one of the most attractive album covers in Armstrong's discography. The "Hot Fives and Sevens" (1926-1927) cover artwork presents Armstrong belting it out on the front panel of a fireman's helmet with the moniker "Satchmo" in bold red font across the top. The red and yellow colors are vibrant and really stand out against the black backdrop. It would look absolutely gorgeous framed. The album also contains a scarcely seen autograph of trombonist Trummy Young who played with Satchmo throughout the 1950's ('52-'64). This is a hand signed piece and is 100% guaranteed to pass any authentication process. The vinyl record itself is in poor condition but is easily replaceable. It is very rare to find a real autograph of Louis Armstrong and even more rare to find one on an album cover! Found at the Madison Boukville Antique Show in New York.
