Description
You are buying a new/sealed In Somniphobia by Sigh. There was only one pressing of this album by Back On Back in 2012. It is a double LP pressed on red vinyl. I was lucky enough to order it on release, however Amazon did a mediocre job of shipping. I don't see any seam splits but there are two areas of concern. One, the bottom has a couple indentations (tiny) and the shrink wrap is starting to peel, both hardly worth mentioning. The second and actual problem is the top right corner got dented bad. I never tried to flatten since that's best attempted after opening, instead I just stored this record safely away and forgot about it. The busy artwork helps to hide the imperfection and I must say BIB did a good job printing as the jacket cover looks nice.
In Somniphobia is my favorite album by Sigh for a variety of reasons I won't go into. It seems everyone has a different favorite with this band which is a testament to how great they are. Like I mentioned, I was disappointed when originally receiving this so I slide it into my record shelf and forget. Well, a decade goes by, still no other pressing and the demand/price is at a point where I'd rather just sell. Item will be shipped in a record mailer with a plastic sleeve to help prevent seam splits and "fragile" stickers. Considering the high price this goes for I will make extra sure it is packaged securely and you may have to sign for delivery (this prevents porch theft and dropped/stepped on packages). Thanks for looking.
