Overall Sleeve Condition : EXCELLENT.

Front cover: Laminated front cover. The laminate sleeve is glossy, with bright, unfaded colours. Very light rubs and creases to the laminate can be seen when viewed under a bright light at an angle. very slight lifting along front spine edge.

Rear cover: Matt rear cover. Unblemished and unfaded bar tiny repair 1 inch tear to opening slit.

Edges: No rubs, no scuffs, no seam splits.

Corners: Very light rubs.

Opening Slit: No scuffs, no rubs, no tears.

Vinyl Condition, Visual:  MINT.

Superb, as new condition, does not look worn or seem to have had heavy play, kept in a polylined inner sleeve.

Plays superbly. Well preserved and cared for, no decrease from the original sound quality. Kept in stunning condition by the previous owner. No skips, no jumps, no sign of heavy play, no wear. Even though this LP is acoustic, subtle and 42 years old, it still sounds fantastic.

This pairing of one of British folk's finest voices (Shirley Collins) with one of the country's finest acoustic guitarists (Davey Graham) had a notable influence on the U.K. folk scene, although it eluded wide acclaim at the time. Collins' rich, melancholy vocals were most likely an influence on Sandy Denny, Maddy Prior, and Jacqui McShee. Graham helped redefine the nature of folk accompaniment with his imaginative, rhythmic backing, which drew from jazz, blues, and a bit of Middle Eastern music as well as mainline British Isles folk. Performed with tasteful restraint and selected with imaginative eclecticism, the album also includes an instrumental showcase for Graham in "Rif Mountain," which provides evidence of his clear influence on guitarists such as Bert Jansch and John Renbourn, and the acoustic style of Jimmy Page.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (US version of this term: Near Mint): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (US version of this term: VG++): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (US version of this term: VG): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits etc.
