Description

Shelaugh McDonald debut LP, B & C records London, 1971 (CAS1043) Stereo. Beautiful debut album, with string arrangements from Robert Kirby (of Nick Drake fame), recorded and mixed by John Wood ( again, famous for working with Nick drake, John Martyn, Fairport Convention etc...) and interestingly the cover image courtesy of Keith Morris, famous for the seminal image of Nick Drake in a blanket. Suffice to say this masterpiece of an album is a hidden gem with an amazing array of accompanying artists, notably, Danny Thompson, Richard Thompson, Dave Mattacks. An amazing album and quite rare first pressing. Sleeve in G/VG condition, slight ring wear to the front, with a slight price marker tear to the surface at the rear. Original inner sleeve in VG condition, with the vinyl in EX. No marks. This is one of the greatest albums of the time, and a rare first pressing.
