Description
Offered from my personal collection is Sheffield Lab 1 "Lincoln Mayorga & Distinguished Colleagues - Volume III". This limited edition direct to disc recording LP is factory sealed and has been properly stored and comes from a smoke-free environment.
On the back of the album there is a paper insert from Sheffield Lab. The following is a quote from this insert: "TAKE 6 - SHEFFIELD LAB DIRECT TO DISC RECORDINGS are limited editions by the fact that only a finite quantity of pressings can be obtained from a single lacquer master. In order to achieve sufficient pressings to clear our initial expenses, we obtain more than one performance of each side. Two performances of Lab 1 are presently available, Take 5 and Take 6. Only our best takes from the standpoint of performance and engineering are ever released. While these versions are deemed equal, their highlights often occur in different places."
