Ravi Shankar was one of the best-known proponents of the sitar in the second half of the 20th century and influenced many other musicians throughout the world.
Ali Akbar Khan was a Hindustani classical musician known for his virtuosity in playing the sarod. Trained as a classical musician and instrumentalist by his father, Allauddin Khan.
