Mykoolkollectibles is proud to present this VERY RARE pressing of Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. Issued in 1968-1969 it contains the “subsidiary perimeter print “. What makes this pressing so unique is it contains a pressing error during the song Good Morning Good Morning on side 2. A limited run with a defective stamper made by the Jacksonville factory from the “W9” master has noticeable drop-out in one of the channels during most of Good Morning Good Morning. Sounds a lot like the mix from Beatles Anthology 2 where the horns are missing. Although this is merely a pressing error and not a different mix of the song, some collectors have sought out this oddity. This pressing is featured on page 149 of Perry Cox’s excellent price guide “Price Guide For The Beatles American Records (2007) and lists at $700 mint. This copy would grade a VG, many visible lines. I played through the track and no skips. Still, s very tough one to find! Cover grades VG, small seam split and cover wear. I’m starting the bid at $99.99 and I will let the market prevail.
