Welcome to this very rare record auction SEX PIXTOLS 7" ONE-SIDE ACETATE GOD SAVE THE QUEEN. Please be assured that this item is 100% authentic, I have been trading and dealing in rare records for many years now so please feel free to check out my feedback and bid with confidence. I have done some research into the background of the item, and 95% percent sure it came from the collection of the late “Tommy Vance”. I bought it in 2006, and was told it came from the widow of a famous British DJ, born in Oxford and also who worked for the BBC. It was part of a job lot, and to be honest that’s all I can remember. I have since done some research and narrowed the search down to either “Vance” or another DJ who worked at BCC Radio Oxford, and had travelled to SA around the same time as the release. With a little extra research though I found this DJ still to be alive and kicking (so ruled him out). The record itself is in EX condition rare mavuthela company sleeve, and EX+ condition record (play only one time and excellent sound), and probably one of the rarest Pistols item’s in existence. I have only ever seen one copy of the South African Pressing before on eBay, and the seller stopped the auction early, so your guess is as good as mine ref price. The only other known African Copy is a Rhodesian one, which recently sold for 4000 gbp last week, I know of three of these in existence. I have put NO RESERVE on this item as the market will reflect a fair price, so enjoy the auction and thanks for looking. TRACK ONE SIDE: 1.
