Description

Peperina is the fourth and last studio album of the original series by Serú Giran, this album originally released in 1981 is for many the work definitive label of the extraordinary Argentine quartet. So much for the compositions as for the sound, "Peperina" represents a synthesis of the development of the band cataloged as "The Beatles Creole". Charly García, David Lebón, Pedro Aznar and Oscar Moro were going through a time of great versatility in the execution of their instruments and exceptional compositional inspiration. "Peperina", "Esperandfo Nacer", "José Mercado", "Cinema verite", "En la vereda del sol ”and“ Salir de la melancolía” are just some of the imperishable hits among the 11 songs that make up this album. "Peperina" is a authentic pillar of Argentine popular music, an album that left a deep imprint that crossed generations of fans of national rock and today we can enjoy again in the sound that only a vinyl record can offer us.
