This is the obsolete format from RCA. The discs are in a caddy that slides into the player and it is then removed, leaving the disc inside to start playback
These are NOT DVDs, NOT LD LaserDisc, NOT BD BluRay, NOT VHD Video High Density - these discs will NOT play in these machines.
All the CED Discs I have listed are UK PAL Format, so will ONLY play in PAL system players - ie Europe.
I understand some people have these just for their collection or to admire the artwork.
These are CED Discs and will ONLY play in a CED Format Player. It wasn’t a very good system, as I’m sure you know by now if you’ve got this far. It flopped as by the time it got to market, LaserDisc & more importantly, Video Tape, was a better option.
These are duplicate discs I have acquired in my collection. I have play tested them. They have all the usual wonderful features associated with CED = poor picture, low resolution, crackly sound, skips, jumps etc. But you already know that it you’ve got this far :-)
These are discs from a 30+ year old, obsolete system. There are therefore sold, as is, no guarantee and no returns. The better your stylus is the more likely they are to play.
Any questions please ask.
Happy to ship Worldwide, postage is high, but they are heavy.
