Description
Blue label with silver text. 12 tracks. Leader, Powell, tenor sax; Cleveland, trombone; Fredie Green, guitar; Aaron Bell, bass; /Roland Hanna, piano; Osie Johnson(on 8 tracks); Gus Johnson(on 4 tracks), drums. Old, original price sticker on the back cover. Very hard-to-find.
Cover: VG+ 3" split on the top edge. Some edge wear. Some uneven aging and light soil from handling on the back cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are a small number of very light brush-like surface rub marks on Side 1; none on Side 2. These marks are extremely light and very few. There are a few clicks on Track 2, Side 1 which are not caused by the rub marks described and do not seem to have a source as the track has no markings. This slight noise may be in the pressing. There are 4 or 5 additional clicks scattered throughout the balance of the record. Otherwise the record has no surface noise and is in excellent overall condition. I have included the (-) to adjust for the small noise detailed above. Audibly checked.
