Description

This is a deluxe sealed boxed set of records and hardcover book of the complete edition of Richard Wagner's 4 part opera, Der Ring des Nibelungen, also known as "The Ring", Das Rheingold, Die Walkure, Siegfried and Gotterdammerung. I'm guessing that there are about 19 records but do not know since each box is sealed. I'm also guessing, but am quite sure that there would be liner notes and libretto to each opera. There is a first edition book by John Culshaw that tells the history of this famous recording by Sir Geroge Solti and the Vienna Philharmonic. This was produced on the London recording label and is a full frequency recording. The catalog numbers, all in stereo are as follows: Das Rheingold OSA-1309, Siegfried OSA-1508, Die Walkure OSA-1509 and Gotterdammerung OSA-1604. The outer box has some wear, the sealed record boxes and book are in excellent and pristine condition. The shipping weight for this is 18 lbs. Unless otherwise requested, I will ship the most economical way which would be USPS media mail from postal code 85321 to anywhere within the US. Insurance is extra and highly recommended.
