RARE Box Set- Wonderful Collectors Item, these are so hard to find if at all in this box set.
BEATLES COLLECTION PLATINUM SERIES (1984)
I am selling these for a good friend whose husband recently passed away. She informed me that his computer company, Capitol Data Systems was invited to Capitol Records in Los Angeles for a promotion and they only gave out a very limited number of these box sets. I have no idea how many they gave out. His wife says 85 but it could be up to 3000. You cannot find this Platinum Series set anywhere to buy and the records in this set are brand new and sealed. This is amazing. I have searched on Google and found some information below that I have contained in this listing. I offer a 100% guarantee of authenticity and will stake my reputation on it. If you are not satisfied within 7 days of receiving these you may return them in the exact same condition for a refund less shipping and fees. You may also pick them up at my house after making arrangements.

16 Sealed in plastic original albums ( I am not sure but 3 of them are thicker and may contain more than one record)
Condition:
Each record/album is completely sealed, never been opened. The Platinum Series box shows wear around the edges and slightly faded.
History:
Issued to promote the introduction of Capitol's ill fated commercial line of computer software. Box is silver with black print and features the print "Compliments of Capitol Records Inc.". The LPs are U.S. issues, and most likely the purple label or 1980's black label.
The Platinum Series Beatles Collection Boxed Set Briefly, Capitol expanded to include Capitol Data Systems, an arm of Capitol Industries that manufactured 5.5" computer diskettes. This venture proved to be a failure for Capitol, and Capitol-made discs are not easy to find. Neither is this boxed set, made to promote the expansion. The set contains current reissues of all sixteen Capitol Beatles LP's from Meet the Beatles through Hey Jude. Only Let It Be is absent from the collection. Set is Stereo or ST Records not Mono.
